We have an advantage that the Disciples didn’t have at the last supper; we have the empty tomb, the words of the angels to the women on Easter morning, and the words of Jesus Himself after the resurrection. Yet, how often do we still not “get it”?

Congratulations to all our students and thank you to our catechists and parents who instructed them so that they would be ready to receive the gift of the Eucharist!

For you had gone astray like sheep, but you have now returned to the shepherd and guardian of your souls.”  Are we staying close to our Guardian Shepherd?  Or are we wandering aimlessly through life searching for “greener pastures” further and further from His loving sight and protection?

I ask your special prayers these next two weekends as some students prepare for their First Communion. A special Mass will be held for these students and their families on both May 7 and 14.
