As we approach another very important election this year (Primary Election is August 4th, General Election is November 3rd), all Catholics are called to "Form Our Conscience". The basis of doing this is provided by our nation's Declaration of Independence (signed on July 4, 1776) that all men and women are created equal and that the source of our human rights is the Creator. These rights apply to all humans from the moment of conception until natural death, especially those who are most vulnerable, the unborn and the frail elderly. That is why our Catholic Faith teaches us that we must always be against abortion and euthanasia.
