What do we do in the “in between” times? That’s how I feel as we approach this final weekend of January. We have already had several weeks of winter, and the Christmas decorations are stored away for another year. It’s not time yet for the spiritual season of Lent. It’s too soon to think about Spring. We still have a few weeks until the Superbowl! What do we do in these in between times?

Due to illness and a shortage of catechists, Children’s Faith Formation is temporarily virtual until Sunday, February 6. Due to a booklet shipping delay, our Sacramental Prep Meeting (for parents whose children will be eligible to make their First Communion this spring) has been postponed.
Today’s Gospel reading is in two parts. The first consists of Luke’s prologue while the second is Luke’s account of Jesus’ first public teaching in the synagogue at Nazareth.
