The Migrant Ministry Team wants to thank all who so generously contributed to Migrant Ministry this summer.

Today’s First Reading from Sirach and the Gospel from Luke both involve the theme of “humility.” 

 Today, the 28th of August, is the feast of our Diocesan Patron, St. Augustine. This is a day of celebration at our Cathedral Parish of. Augustine as well as for all of us to see that through his writings that the Church has grown in faith.

The Diocesan Convocation will be held Saturday, October 1, beginning with the celebration of Mass at 8:45 am Mass and concluding with Benediction at 3 pm.

We’re so excited for our Parish Picnic on September 11! Please let us know if you plan to attend so we can order enough food and supplies for everyone.

Our parish is now recruiting Altar Servers to assist the priests and deacons during the Liturgy.

Imagine yourself listening to Jesus as He teaches about salvation and the Kingdom of God. Wouldn’t you too want to ask Him, “Lord, will only a few people be saved?” Wouldn’t you too like to know your odds?

Our staff has been planning and organizing things for the fall months and a return to what looks like a fairly normal schedule of in person meetings and activities.
