You may have heard the news that we have a Bishop-Elect. The Holy Father accepted Bishop Bradley’s retirement this past week. Bishop-Elect Edward M. Lohse will be consecrated on July 25, 2023 as our new Bishop of Kalamazoo.
Jesus' words to the Disciples two thousand years ago are given to us today. We have the same mission that they did; spread the Gospel to the entire world.
All daily Masses, except for Saturday, will be held in the main church in anticipation of increased attendance. Additionally, Fr. Benedict will be available for any emergency anointings.
Jesus gave us the Spirit in order to help us love Him and follow Him. How cool is it that God has given us everything we need to know Him and love Him? Are we willing to take the time and make the effort to allow the Spirit to work in, and through, us?
I appreciate all your support of the Bishop’s Annual Appeal. If you haven’t made your pledge yet to support the work and ministry of the Church throughout the Diocese of Kalamazoo, please prayerfully consider a pledge.
Thank you for your continued support of our church. We ask those who can to continue giving, either via mail or eGiving through Vanco at https://stcatherinesiena.org/give.
Our Knights of Columbus have generously pledged to donate $1.00 for every parishioner or family who donates to the BAA, by June 1. All money raised will support the community where Fr. Ben is going for his Sabbatical. Please donate today. Thank you!
