As we celebrate our anniversaries this week, your priests are not looking for cards or gifts. Instead, as I tell people so often, I am looking for prayers.
On June 2 and 3, we had two special deliveries: Two heating/air conditioning units, one five tons and one 10 tons, delivered and installed onto our main church roof (building) via crane.
Today, we are reminded of the greatest of Jesus’ parting gifts. This Sunday, we celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi, the gift of Jesus giving Himself to us in the Holy Eucharist.
After the seven weeks of the Easter Season, we see how important the Eucharist is to our life of faith. It literally is the life blood to what we believe and why we gather for Mass each Sunday. Through His Body and Blood, may the Lord not only strengthen us in our faith, but may the Lord also continue to call forth many vocations to the priesthood and the religious life through the celebration of the Eucharist.
